Tata Steel Wire Division organized ‘The Road Ahead’ - Tyre Bead Wire Customers Meet 2006 on the 23rd of August, 2006 at the Angsana Resort, Bangalore. This one day Meet primarily focused on sharing of our business plans on Tyre Bead wires in order to support the growing demands in the automobile industry. During the presentations, emphasis was given on our expansion plans in tyre bead wires, multi-location facilities and various improvement initiatives in our products and services. Coupled with the Meet was a visit organized for all the customers to the Doddabalapur Wire Plant. The successful operations and improved infrastructure laid the path to building the Customer confidence for supplying them material from the DWP plant.
Mr. Harish Pathak-Executive In-Charge TSWD inaugurated the Customers Meet welcoming all our valued tyre bead customers. This was followed by Mr. Alok Jhamb-Head Institutional Sales throwing light on the growth of Automobile industry and the business plans for Tyre Bead wires in the domestic and export oriented markets. Mr. Rajiv Mangal- Chief Technical Services stressed upon the Tata Business Excellence model and the Tata Code of Conduct. On a positive note, Mr. Shyam Sunder-COO Wire Division highlighted the improvement initiatives carried out at the Tarapur and Dodaballapur Wire plants.
In conclusion, it was Mr. Prashant Ursekar-Chief Business Development (Global Wire Business) with the vote of thanks. In keeping with the good participation of customers, the interactive sessions on important aspects of products and service quality were touched upon.
