THE WHIZ KID

Master Susmit, son of Mr. S. V. Gulavani Manager, Galvanizing Line is making waves in the IT arena. He has accomplished an extraordinary feat unusual for Indian children  of his age. Very early in life he displayed keen passion for computers. Now, all of 10, little Susmit has proved himself a genius in the IT domain.

A fifth standard student, he underwent training after a great deal of hesitation on the part of the course authorities and appeared for the Certificate Course MS-CIT in Information Technology conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, eligibility for which is the successful completion of the HSC exam. He surpassed all expectations when he distinguished himself by securing a scintillating score of 93%.

Mr. Gulavani, while congratulating the prodigious Susmit on his early success, we believe it is now up to you to create an environment that makes it conducive for Susmit to reach the pinnacle of greater glory.

Kudos again to you and Susmit!

DWP IS AHUJA CONTINENTAL’S 100% SUPPLIER

It's the latest addition to the manufacturing facilities of Tata Steel Wire Division. The Doddaballapur Wire Plant (DWP) located at 40 kilometers North of Bangalore, was originally commissioned by National Standard Duncan. After facing crisis and being out of production for a long period of eight years, Tata Steel Wire Division finally acquired this plant in 2005. The first commercial production saw the light of day on the 13th of November 2005. Today, DWP stands revived and charged, capable of producing 6000 MT of Bead Wire annually for the pneumatic tyre manufacturing segment.

Ahuja Continental Limited, Bangalore a major at manufacturing and exporting bicycle tyres and tubes is our first customer for Bead Wire manufactured at DWP. Tata Steel Wire Division takes this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude towards Mr. Deven Ahuja, MD, ACL and his entire team for their unstinted support! Thank You So Much Deven Sir.

Congratulations also to Mr. Rakesh Malhotra, Mr. N. Ramanathan, Mr. Shirish Bidikar, Mr. K. N. Prabhakar and their entire team at DWP who made this happen.
