SUGGESTION SCHEME AWARDS

Suggestion Scheme is accepted and propagated worldwide as means to capture creative ideas of employees and make use of these ideas for improving performance in the areas of Quality, Productivity, Maintenance, Safety etc.

At TSWD we have been propagating this initiative for at least 20 years now. Success of the implementation depends on recognition and reward for suggestions. RENDEZVOUS WITH R. GOPALKRISHNAN

It is not everyday that a Director of Tata Sons comes our way. So it was a pleasant surprise when Mr. R.Gopalakrishnan, Director, Tata Sons accepted an invitation to deliver a lecture at TIMA on 25th March. This also provided us an opportunity to have him visit our Works at Tarapur.

Escorted by Mr. Harish Pathak, our EIC along with Mr. P. R. Raste, Mr. Shyam Sunder, Mr. P. W. Prabhu and others who took him on a guided tour to Wire Rod Mill and Tarapur Wire Plant. He keenly soaked in all the information about the working of Wire Division plants at Tarapur. Lunch was time for an enjoyable tete-a-tete with Mr. Gopalakrishnan. Thereafter, there was a warm welcome awaiting him at the Cricket Coaching Academy and TMRCT, the hospital we help manage.

It was truly an honor, to have Mr. Gopalakrishnan with us and we look forward to welcoming him again in our midst.
